Kumar Malavalli
Chairman of the Board and Chief Strategy Officer
Co-founder of InMage, Kumar Malavalli is widely considered to be the visionary of Fiber Channel storage fabrics, the fundamental technology behind the billion-dollar storage area networks (SANs) market segment. Prior to InMage, Kumar co-founded and was CTO of Brocade Communications, the leading provider of storage area networking infrastructure, and he served in management and technical capacities at Amdahl, Canstar and Hewlett-Packard. He was chairman of the ANSI T11 Technical Committee, was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Council Hall of Fame in 2003, and received the prestigious INCITS award for extraordinary leadership in developing numerous standards in the SAN industry. He holds several patents in fiber channel. He has established the Kumar Malavalli Endowed Chair in Storage Systems Research at UC Santa Cruz.

John Ferraro
President and CEO
John Ferraro brings 20 years of enterprise software experience, with the majority spent in the storage software sector. He has led four start-up companies to successful exits, most recently as CEO of SeeCommerce which subsequently sold to NCR/Teradata. Prior to SeeCommerce, John was President/COO of Sigaba Software, a leading Secure Email software company. John was EVP Worldwide Sales and Business Development of Legato Systems until June, 1999. Under his leadership, Legato sales increased 200 percent over a two year period. Prior to Legato, John led other companies such as Securant Technologies which RSA Security acquired and UNISON Software which IPO'ed and was acquired by IBM/Tivoli in December, 1997. John started his software career at Computer Associates, where he held various sales management positions during his seven year tenure. John currently holds Advisory Board positions with Uppervision and Snipe Networks, which are leaders in the network Security Software sector.

Doug Hickey
Board Member
Doug is a Partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Doug has more than 20 years of operational experience holding senior-level positions in the telecom, Internet and technology space. Most recently Doug was CEO of Critical Path. Prior to Critical Path, Doug was President and CEO of Global Center. Global Center became one of the first and largest providers of advanced web hosting. After selling Global Center to Frontier Communications in 1998, Doug was named President of Frontier Global Center and Executive Vice President of Frontier Communications Corporation.

Doug also held the position of president and CEO of MFS Datanet, the Internet and data arm of MFS communications. MFS Datanet grew to more than $200 million in revenues and became widely recognized as the leading bandwidth and connectivity provider to more than 3000 ISPs and leading corporations worldwide. Doug was a key member of the team that negotiated the purchase of UUNET, positioning MFS as the world leader in Internet data traffic. Prior to this, Doug held several other senior-level management positions including general manager of North America at Ardis, a Motorola company. Doug received a B.S. in economics from Siena College.

Currently Doug sits on the Boards of Move Networks, Martin Dawes Systems, Yosemite Technologies, Scalent Systems, InMage Systems, SignalDemand, Success Metrics, CITTIO, and SyncVoice. Doug founded the Douglas T. Hickey Chair in Business at Siena College and serves on Siena's board of directors.
