Business disruption due to lack of continuous data availability is extraordinarily costly for businesses around the world. In fact, The National Archives and Records Administration reports that more than 93 percent of companies that lost their data center for 10 days or more due to a disaster filed for bankruptcy within one year of the disaster. Even the largest enterprises are exposed to the prospect of frequent business interruptions due to infrequent backups, backup failures, data corruptions, virus attacks, and other crises.
Previous solutions fell short on both technology and cost fronts by scheduling backups and recovery on a single dimension- time - with no correlation to an organization's business events. That approach limited an organization's ability to accurately assure data consistency across geographical boundaries or to recover information based on a significant transaction or meaningful activity.

Disaster Recovery Requirements Scoping: DR-Scout CX features an industry-unique Modeler that lets you run DR-Scout in a test environment to determine exactly how much bandwidth and storage you will need to execute in a production environment. It also helps determine exactly which servers need to be protected, by indicating how much data is really changing. The benefit: you will be able to determine very precisely your bandwidth requirements and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), Unlike other products, with DR-Scout you will know exactly what you can deliver - before you even implement.
Non-disruptive Approach: Many companies have suffered at the hands of vendors who purported to sell a Disaster Recovery solution, but in fact succeeded in disrupting normal operations. With InMage, there is no need for reformatting or migration of the user's existing data. The products work transparently with both existing and new application installations. In addition, DR-Scout VX (for volume CDP) and DR-Scout FX (for file-level data protection) are designed to handle most outages without requiring an expensive data resynchronization operation. This means better productivity and fewer administrative headaches.
